I took advil (ibuprofen) and sinus 2 hrs ago for my cold, and i have a tooth ache, is it ok to take a vicodin ?

Depends: If you've seen a dentist and you were prescribed vicodin for your toothache, no problem. In fact, alternating it with advil (ibuprofen) may increase comfort. If you have some left over from another issue, best to see a dentist first to assess your situation. Vicodin may mask your symptoms making diagnosis more challenging. In no circumstance combine vicodin and any other Acetaminophen (tylenol) meds.

NO: Vicodin (hydrocodone) is a powerful narcotic, and should not be used without supervision or for a cold. Feel better.
