Is it possible for me to use an icepack on my head if i have a fever?

Icepacks over do it: I don't think it's really a good idea to apply an ice-pack to your head for a fever. That won't really do anything except make you feel uncomfortable. A fever is part of the body's way of fighting an infection - so my advice is not to interfere. If it's really bothering you, you might want to try other strategies like a Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. Sure you could go for the ice pack, if you really want.

Ice may cause: you to chill and actually raise the temperature. Hydrate with fluids and try Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. Sever is the bodies response to fight the infection.
