Help please! could croup turn into bronchitis?

Croup: Croup is typically seen in preschool children. Some of these children develop asthma as they grow older. Asthma ; bronchitis are very similar. Some pediatricians may use the term "bronchitis" when they are unsure if it is asthma, in a given situation.
