Cromolyn eye drops: Are used in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, more as a preventive medication instead of helping acute symptoms. Unlike otc antihistamine or decongestant drops, cromolyn drops don't cause pupil dilation. In people who have narrow anterior chamber angles, drops that cause pupil dilation can lead to a type of glaucoma. This is not the cause with cromolyn.
