Is it possible that amoxillin treat fever?

Amoxicillin & Fever: Amoxicillin is not an antipyretic which means that amoxicillin does not treat fever. But, amoxicillin can kill bacteria which cause the fever. If the fever was caused by a virus, amoxicillin would have no effect on the fever. Best treatments for fever are acetaminophen or NSAIDS, not antibiotics.
