Root Canal: I do not believe so. Sometimes injections can cause very mild short term damage if the anesthetic is placed directly on or into the nerve but this is rare and it is short term. How long has it been? Have you seen your md or seen the dentist again; i would. Please get a proper diagnosis and see your md or dds.
