Slight Diferences: Belotero and juvederm are similar products by different companies. Both are hyaluronic acids, a normal human substance. Belotero does not come with local anesthetic and is often used more superficially than juvederm. Juvederm has different amounts of cross-linking which can make it last longer. More cross-linking is felt to make the products more durable and longer lasting.

No: Juvederm is a bit thicker preparation and good for filling in deeper areas. The product is deposited in the dermis. If you use this in a fine line it will have to be very superficial and will make a blue line appear. Belotero is designed to gointo fine lines of the lip and also deeper wrinkles. It can be delivered superficially without blue formation

Belotero vs Juve: Their are different indications for each filler although sometimes they can overlap. Best to have your injector determine which you are a candidate for. Belotero is typically for fine lines and superficial wrinkles while juvederm is for deeper lines and better for facial contouring. Always go with belotero in tear troughs!

Fillers: There are many fillers on the market now. Which is better is really doctor preference although some fillers can be better in certain areas of the face. Have your face evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
