Allergists: Allergists are highly trained to deal with asthma especially in the clinic setting. Over 90% of children with asthma have allergies and nearly 50% of adults with asthma have allergies. Allergists are trained to deal with the entire airway (nose, sinus, lungs) as they are commonly inter-related. Pulmonologists also take care of asthma especially in the ICU of hospitals.
