Auscultation: Dear hummus. If you are actually only 13, please remember that this site requires you to be at least 16 years old to ask questions yourself. Your parent can ask for you. How much goes into auscultating the lungs can depend on what the findings are. A physician would want to be especially thorough if there is a pulmonary complaint. One would try to listen to at least one respiratory cycle in.

Maybe.: If the asthma is so severe that breaths sounds are diminished, it will take longer to hear them well. On the other hand, people with a thicker subcutaneous fat layer are also a little more difficult to hear.
