You can try it: Acupuncture has been tried along with many other non-medical (alternative) treatments for cardiac palpitations. In my experience, a medical approach starting with a 24-hour cardiac monitor to diagnose the cause of the palpitations is often very successful. If there is a cardiac electrical cause for the symptom, acupuncture is not likely to be as helpful as a "traditional" medical approach.

I concur w earlier: Response. If you have palpitations it is important to be medically assessed to determine the cause. I recommend western medicine approach ; it can be determined if acupuncture will be a useful adjunct. Depending on the reason for your palpitations, acupuncture may be helpful.
