Need evaluation: You have eosinophilia, or elevated eosinophil count in the blood. Normally the eosinophil count is less than 350. There are many different reasons for eosinophilia, some benign, some infectious and some malignant - parasitic diseases and allergic reactions to medication are among the more common causes of eosinophilia. Given your location, you should be evaluated for chronic parasitic infection.

Yes: This is moderate eosinophilia and you need to rule out allergies, parasites, addison's disease, hodgkin's disease, fungal infections, metastatic cancer, and hiv.
