My friend has had a dry cough in her throat for 2 months , wondering what it could be ? she won't see a doctor

Possibilities: Are several. Some include: allergies and/or asthma.It is also common to have a lingering cough after a cold for several weeks, even up to 2 months. If she has a fever or is losing weight, she really should see a doctor soon. Otherwise, wait another month and it quite possibly could go away. If it doesn't, she should be seen by a doctor.
