I was diagnosis with jme at 22. i read it can be genetic but i have no family history of seizures. i now have a son, 9 mo. what are the chances of him getting jme?

Jme: About 7 percent of families may have a genetic propensity to develop jme. Symptoms usually develop around puberty.They do not cause an mental deficit and are controlled with medication.
