?: Although there are many purported benefits from vitamin d3, I have not heard of heel pain from vitamin d deficiency or insufficiency. However it it helps, whatever the mechanism, it is considered safe for most to take up to 5000 u of vitamin d3 daily . I however would recommend that one gets a blood test to ascertain whether an optimal blood level has been reached.

As long as needed: Vitamin d deficiency is never the cause of heel pain, it is caused by the way you walk and the shoes you wear.
