Tachycardia: First do you smoke as nicotine like caffeine is a stimulant? What is your heart rate and bp? You may need 24 hour holster monitor to determine if any cardiac irregularities are or not present as well. Also do you drink energy drinks or excessive sugar? All these things can contribute to tachycardia.

Fast heart rate: Tachycardia means fast heart rate which can be a normal response or from disease. The basic test should be a physical exam and ekg.
