My 10 month old is irritable, had a 102 fever yesterday, refusing to eat, and isn't sleeping or napping well. what could it be?!

Fever: Your 10 month old has a fever and probably won't eat or sleep until fever is controlled. If fever continues call your pediatrician. They will examine his/her ears for infection mouth for teething belly etc. Talk to your parents or friends.For advice.

Infection: Fever is a sign the kid has developed an infection and his/her body is trying to fight it off. Many are viral & self heal, some are bacterial and can benefit from antibiotics. The only way to know is get it evaluated. To me, the worrisome issue is not eating and or not drinking.
