Breathe Right Strips: Hello. Breathe right strips can help to change the anatomy of the airway entry into the nasal pathway. The amount of change will do little to change the sleep architecture and cure obstructive sleep apnea. A sleep study after the breathe right strips are worn is the way to assess changes in sleep which will determine therapy. Good luck.

Usually, No: Breath right strips only benefits patients who have sleep apnea as a result of their nostrils collapsing while breathing. Only a very small number of patients would ever fall into this category. Usually apnea is from over relaxation of the muscles that line the airway, from loose tissues in the back of the throat, or enlarged or swollen tissues on the nose and throat.

Usually not: The level obstruction in sleep apnea is usually behind the tongue in 65% and 35% behind the soft roof of the mouth or the roof of the mouth, The abstraction at the level of the nose is only 1% of the cases, and usually those patients cannot breath at all through the nose. The breathe right strip might help, but likely not.
