Prescription only: Medications to treat bacterial infections are only available by prescription. See your pediatrician or family doctor to confirm this is a bacterial infection and to give you the treatment options.

Help: Over the counter products like Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen will not treat and or resolve a bacterial infection, but they can certainly help decrease temps and aches/soreness.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!: Bacterial infections require treatment with an appropriate antibiotic. This can only be prescribed/decided by your physician. To think otherwise may possibly endanger the life of the affected person.
