I feel an intense pulsating pain in my right and left lower abdomen as feces moves through my stomach. diarrhea for months until macrobid. persistent hemorrhoid for 3 months. pcp falling short. help?

Need imaging: With prior surgery and current symptoms the possibility of incisional hernia is real. A ct scan of abdomen and pelvis and labs may help your health care team to a diagnosis. Absent fever or vomiting okay to go in for regular office visit, take a friend with you. Be well.

May need GI consult: You may want to ask your pcp if a consultation with a gastroenterologist is in order.

Need further info: If you had diarrhea that improved with antibiotics, and have crampy pain with bowel movements, it may be a sign of colitis (infection or inflammation of the colon lining), or possibly diverticulitis. Sounds like you need more workup. I'd start with a gastroenterologist.
