No: This is a visual inspection of the inside of your esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. Other abdominal structures, including the aorta are not visualized with this test.

No: An endoscopy is inside the intestinal tract. An aneurysm is outside. Rarely the intestine wall is eroded and a graft can be seen or bleeding identified. Aneurysms are found on physical exam, occasionally calcium seen in a regular x-ray, but more commonly AAA seen on ultrasound, ct or mri.
