Had a endoscope done on friday. i'm having extreme abdominal pains. went to the emerg room last night. was discharged with buscopan. it's difficult to swallow and the poo is black. i'm in so much agony. the dr said he wud see me in his room tomo?

It is good you are being seen tomorrow. Black stool is concerning for bleeding. The medicine you were given will help if the discomfort is from spasm but you need a diagnosis for the black stools. Does the stool test positive for blood? Did you have both an upper and lower endoscopy and what are the results? If the stool is negative for blood, medications can be reason for stool color.
