5 months ago my pap came back abnormal with high risk hpv now she said my pap smear came back normal does that mean its gone? or hasn't gotten worse?

Pap Smears: It would appear to me that you are confusing two different results on pap smears. First, the main reason for a pap smear is to examine the cells to see if any of them have changed to predict a risk of cancer. Second, the cells are studied for high risk hpv dna to see if there is any risk of future changes that would predict cancer.
