A doctor has provided 1 answer

Joint Hypermobility: On its own joint hypermobility is usually benign. Your doctor will check for signs of degree of hypermobility and chance of ligament injury. However, if you also begin to experience joint pain or have other clinical characteristics (tall status, etc...), your doctor may check you for Marfan's or ehlers-danlos. These connective tissue disorders to carry risk of cardiac involvement.
