A member asked:

I recently started estrace (estradiol) for mild vulvar vestibulitis- how long does it take to see results? does estrace (estradiol) work right away?

Depends: Estrace (estradiol) is not a fast acting medication. Give it a few weeks and make sure you see your doctor for a followup to review how you are responding to the medication.

Estrace (estradiol) efficacy: You should see results within a few weeks time. Depending on your age and the length of time you have had this condition, you may need a cream with a higher concentration of estrogen.
