Wide toe box: The toe box, or end of your shoe should not rub or bind your forefoot. The tender bump is the area to avoid rubbing. Birkenstocks are great with a nice wide toe box.

Comfort and support: Good shoes and support. Improving foot function will slow down the progression of the deformity. Comfort is the key, but a taller, wider toebox is helpful. Dr l.
