Blepharospasm: Or eyelid twitching is a common condition. It is usually temporary but sometimes can persist over time. The usual causes are fatigue and stress, but many times a cause cannot be identified. Medications traditionally have been variable in their effectiveness. Botox has been used for many years to control spasm in patients who have severe cases of this.
