All stressors bad: Peripheral neuropathies (pn) are a progressive disorder. Stressors are usually metabolic and a worsening of the underlying cause for pn, so dehydration can be a temporary stressor.

How can I prevent dehydration in my child that is infected with e.Coli?

Small sips: Small, frequent sips of liquids. Once ounce every 15 minutes. Popsicles can help too but don't use too many because too much juice/sugar can make diarrhea worse. Take your child to the doctor if s/he cannot keep down liquids, has had no urine output in 8 hours or has had less than three urine outputs in 24 hours.

For preventing dehydration with e.Coli infections, which is better water or sports drinks?

Sports drinks...: ...Are at least closer to the ideal composition, but they still tend to be heavy on sugar and light on potassium compared to the who-recommended rehydration solution. Water can produce dangerous electrolyte disturbances by diluting your body's salts as they are being flushed out by diarrhea.

How can one treat nerve pain?

2 doctor answers7 doctors weighed in
Dr. Thomas Dowling
Orthopedic Spine Surgery 40 years experience
depends on cause: Treatment depends on the cause of the nerve problem and how long standing it is as well as your age and health. Also the severity of the nerve injury plays a role. Is the nerve problem related to a nerve compression inside or outside of the spine or due to issues related to diabetes, vitamin deficiencies, toxic exposure, etc. Or both. A diagnosis needs to be made first.
