A member asked:

Latest labs ast 22, alt 28 and alp 41 all within range but alt is higher than ast. is that pointing to liver damage? my previous labs alt was lower.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Results are normal: Your ast, alt, and alkaline phosphatase values as recorded are within normal limits for most laboratories, and by themselves do not indicate liver disease. If however you suspect otherwise, ask your doctor for confirmatory or complementary testing of the liver (there are many).
