Had spinal fusion, preggo 2yrs after w/ prolonged labor of over 40 hours & pushed 3 hour ending in a c section. could that have caused my new issues?

Clarification: Without knowing your new issues after the delivery, it is hard to suggest a course of action. However, if your fusion was completely healed, and you had no issues before the delivery, increased back and/or leg pain may indicate back strain, post-c-section issues, or problems in the spine at the levels above your fusion. Definitely consult your spine surgeon. You may need a new mri.

Evaluation: If there are new back problems after a pregnancy, particularly with hard labor, a new evaluation would be a great idea.
