Is it okay for me to drink beer while taking metronidazole?

Metronidazole: Do not drink alcohol while taking Metronidazole unless you want to feel as bad as you have ever felt in your life. This medication is similar to Antabuse (disulfiram) (to prevent alcoholics from drinking) and you will deeply regret having had that beer.
