Sweet taste: A sweet taste and white coating may result from candidiasis, or oral thrush, which is a yeast infection. See your dentist or an ENT specialist for treatment.

HYGIENE.: Could be a high amount of bacterial plaque and accumulation of bacteria . Must brush tongue and teeth. Milk can cause fermentation of foods. Also sugars. Watch for bleeding. See a dentist.

Dysgeusia : is a change in your sense of taste due to a variety of causes; from medication you may be taking to dental problems, poor hygiene. It is very common condition. Also with dry mouth people may notice they have a bitter, sweet or metallic taste in their mouths and white deposits on the tongue. See your dentist for evaluation if concerned. Good luck.
