Multiple problems: White mark probably scar tissue. See your dentist for evaluation. Dentist may refer you to oral surgeon or plastic surgeon for rx. And yes, herpes virus transmitted in bodily fluids, as when kissing.

Trauma: Just stop the biting. If doesn't go, it can be removed (if mucocele). Herpes virus is present in everybody. Depends on the resistance to the virus and/or the local environment if the symptoms will show or not.
