Use: COLD compresses....and the swelling should resolve..AS LONG AS THE SKIN WAS NOT "BROKEN" If there was a breech of your lip/skin (ie bleeding) you may need antibiotics and you should speak with your PCP (Primary Care Provider) about your situation! Hope this helps! Dr Z
