Antidepressants: They are pretty different on the neurotransmitters they affect (serotonin/norepinephrin), half life, molecular structure, side effects (like weight gain, paroxetine causes this more often; etc) and pharmacodynamics. They share some indications and uses (besides obviously as antidepressants) and both are relatively inexpensive.
