Allow yourself to : Grieve. Don't try to date any time soon. Give yourself permission to feel whatever emotions come up. In the meantime get at least 7.5 to 8 hours of sleep per night. Eat healthfully. Get exercise every day. Nurture your self. Spend time with friends and relatives. These positive things will help to fill the void that was left. You will heal with time. Take care.

Life goes on: If you have made a decision and the affair is over.You have to take a deep breath ang go on with your life.Never look back and look forward and you will find some one else and you will fall in love again. So you have to move on and find happiness and love all over again.It may be a little difficult but with support of your friends anf family you will overcome of this loss, I am sure.
