Hepatitis B vaccine: Yes. The hepatitis b vaccine, like other vaccines, trains your immune system to recognize hepatitis b virus as it enters your body and prevent it from infecting you and causing you illness or disease. Many vaccines have multiple doses spread over time to boost or strengthen your immune response. Delay left you less protected during that period but once you got dose 3, you are now fully protected.
