Early HIV...: Early vs late symptoms of HIV ; not how us doctors think-we look at the infection as primary infection. Assuming primary infection, this may last from 7to 14 days, and mimicked the flu, with a possible pharyngitis and rash. If the primary infection is aggressive, complications such as a bacterial infection, or else a post- infectious "viral syndrome" may be at play. Discuss your sx with you doc.
