pain in left side of throat and eventually went up into the left ear. this began when i yelled. it started in my throat. pain is not constant.

Sore throat: Pain in the ear may be due to referred pain from a focus of inflammation in the throat, so if you have a virus, strep or bleeding due to trauma or other condition in the throat it may be felt in the ear as well.
