Very low: Studies have quoted different numbers based on type of stress (exercise vs. Pharmacologic), length of follow up, patient population, etc. Overall, the risk is very low, well below 5%, reported around 1%/yr after a normal study in the below listed study. Jacc cardiovasc imaging. 2012 oct;5(10):1014-21.
