Traumatic bite: The bite marks on your cheek indicate that you are clenching or grinding or that you have some kind of cross bite. This could very well be causing you to catch your tongue when you have to chew anything hard like toast or crackers and therefore cause your tongue to be sore. I suggest you see your dentist if it is a problem.

Tongue/cheek: Two possibilities. Most probably a bite problem, with resultant trauma to soft tissues. See your Dentist. Referral to an Orthodontist may be in order. Much smaller chance that you are having an allergic reaction. If you are cleared by your Dentist, the next step would be to see an Allergist.
