Thin skin: Long term exposure to the sun can cause the skin to become thin, so that small blood vessels become visible, and are closer to the surface. The dermal collagen has been dissolved by the sun, and the thin veins can be broken easily, causing small purple and black bruises. Block all sun exposure, and use a cream, with either retin a (tretinoin) or glycolic acid, to thicken the dermal collagen of your skin.
