Both Similar Effect : Antipsychotic use during the third trimester of pregnancy has a risk for abnormal muscle movements (extrapyramidal symptoms [eps]) and withdrawal symptoms in newborns following delivery. Symptoms in the newborn may include agitation, feeding disorder, hypertonia, hypotonia, respiratory distress, somnolence, and tremor; these effects may be self-limiting or require hospitalization. Worse in 3rd tri.

During pregnancy: These meds should be used only when clearly needed. Babies born to mothers who used them during last 3 months of pregnancy may infrequently develop symptoms including muscle stiffness/shakiness, drowsiness, feeding/breathing difficulties, or constant crying. If so, see doctor. No known causation noted for developmental delays. Developmental assessment and remediation is important. Best regards.
