In the US, a psych: In United States at this point i suspect there are far more psychiatrist treating adhd then there are neurologists. I don't know how things are in your country however. Neurology and psychiatry have been divided up in different ways in different countries. I would still venture to say however that a psychiatrist would be in a better position to handle not only the adhd but any other psychiatric comorbiditiesthat may be present. I would therefore recommend that you start with the psychiatrist. Best wishes.
