? infectious mono: Although tonsils are removed, one can still get sore throat / pharyngitis, swollen glands ; difficulty swallowing, the cough could b a sign of pneumonia / asthma exacerbation affected by a viral infection, fever might be masked by acetaminophen, at this point u want 2 c a physician, as other meds e.g. Steroids, oxygen and antibiotics might be needed.
