A member asked:

Is hepatojugular reflux always bad? does it mean i have heart problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hepatojugular reflux: This is a physical finding we observe which suggests there may be an increase in the pressure in the right heart system. It is seen in right heart failure but is not specific for this. In and of itself, it does not necessarily imply heart disease.
