Thrombosis: Depending on where the thrombosis is, etc, you may need treatment to prevent a more serious condition such as a pe, mi, or stroke, etc. Best for you to discuss with your doctor what treatment you need, if any, depending on the severity and location of your thrombosis (even without symptoms). Best wishes.

Probably not.: Thrombosis can occur in an artery on a vein. Both should cause symptoms. Arterial thrombosis is usually an emergency and associated with severe pain and loss of pulses. Venous thrombosis may or may not be an emergency depending on the veins involved. It also is associated with pain and usually swelling.
