I have had a persistent migraine for the past 5 days. i am not sensitive to lights, but i have a persistent throbbing ache.

Pain management: Am not aware of what meds you are taking, but use of otc preps such as tylenol (acetaminophen) or nsaid's can cause persistence of headache. Sleep may help curtail. Narcotics will be only transiently useful. Cambia powder and ergot amines may be useful even late in the headache course. Discuss with your doctor, and maybe try a preventative item for future headaches.
