No: The Hepatitis B Vaccine would not cause a false positive result. I'm not sure what your doctor means when he says you may have tested positive: you either did or you didn't. Pregnancy can cause a 'biologically false positive' syphilis result, which means that the RPR will be positive but the confirmatory fta-abs will be negative. That should not be interpreted as a positive result.

Syphilis: Biologic false positive tests for syphilis are common, but can be excluded by follow-up testing. This should be done and you should also undergo testing for other stds. It is doubtful that hepb vaccine did this, but possible. Without knowing what test your doctor did it is not easy to answer your question.

No: Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by a bacteria called Treponema pallidum. It is not related in any way to Hepatitis B (which is a virus). Both are sexually transmitted, however. MAKE SURE you follow through completely with treatment to kill the syphilis bacteria. Not doing so can make you very sick or even die, and can kill your baby. Take good care of yourself!
