A member asked:

What can my primary care doc do about my excess facial hair?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Facial hair: There is a prescription called vaniqua that slows the growth of hair. Thus, you would not have to shave, wax or pluck as often. The best treatment to remove hair is with the hair laser. However this may take between 5-10 treatments which is not covered by insurance. The laser only works with black or brown hair not blond or grey.
