See below: If an infection is persisting in the lymph nodes (lymphadenitis), a stronger antibiotic is needed, like Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) or keflex. However, viral illnesses are also possible. Have other labs been done like an ESR or CRP or cmp? If not, they might be warranted.
